What the title says.

In my opinion, community MvM is not just vastly superior to official MvM, but also, the best way to experience the gamemode.

Mann Up as of now (Assuming the MvM Update arrives soon), is not only old, overplayed, but also completely solved when it comes to difficulty and strategies, or BALANCE. To the point that things that are completely fine (Non 2C line ups, or class stacking) are seen as oddities, and also, the notion that Meta is super stale (Which is fair, but weapon line up is varied for all classes minus maybe Engie). Oh, also the balance is disregarded by most- Granted, that is because most people just play for loot and to them, integrity of balance is less relevant.

Potato tf community MvM, for all reasons but lack of loot, is therefore superior.

- Lack of loot incentive. Simple, no loot, means people are incentivised to get play and enjoy the gamemode through other means, such as personal challenges (speedruns), or simply experiencing the variety and gamemodes without needing to go FAST, or to be ultra optimised,

- Missions are better paced and designed, same with Maps (No Big Rock chokes, super slow spawns for ScotRes Demos etc.),

- New maps and bot types, which demand different line ups of classes and also strategies (Blimps cant be dealt with by Pyros, Vacc Medics need different damage types or Spy, and so on),

- They are made by people who have been playing and making MvM stuff for a while, because of it, they understand what works and what does not,

- Some missions have upgrades for items that do not have them, or similar mechanics (Overclocks for instance), this boosts replayability and experimentation,

- Higher and more knowledgable playerbase, which means learning MvM is much better, especially due to lower stakes, and due to people playing for enjoyment and love of the gamemode, not loot,

- More challenging, which is a breath of fresh air, and is actually engaging, compared to snoozefest of the overplayed official missions,

- More unique types of missions, not all are vanilla MvM, but they are fun "sides" so to speak (Trespasser, Memes vs Machines, Reverse Missions, Medieval MvM, One Class missions, and much more),

THE ONLY drawback, is again, the lack of aussies or other drops. Which, sure, if you play MvM for that, means Potato is not for you. That being said, I believe that it [Potato], has so many advantages above official Mann Up mode (Or general Vanilla MvM), it is a much better place to play, and experience Mann vs Machine.

Feel happy to agree, or disagree!
