Hello all, I have a question, in Northern NJ Passaic county, my mother's in a 2 family home.

I have a roommate couple with my elderly mother to help pay for expenses. They moved in about 9 months ago, they were using our furniture. Did not bring much except clothes and some boxes.

2 months ago started seeing roaches in the kitchen and they spray in a back bedroom (they spend 99% of their time there.).

They also have a fridge in the bedroom and eat almost everything there that I know.

We purchased an exterminator service and he's come 1x in the beginning and 2 weeks later, did the whole house 2 family the tenants upstairs started noticing. Exterminator said German cockroaches

If they will not take their fridge out/stop eating there I assume I need to tell them to leave, its 60 days and a new batch is now spotted coming from their room.

I've been in their room and its not excessively messy or dirty, but they do have some items there also I don't know if they vacuum.

Hello not sure where to post this but I am getting weird calls from an "investigator" he says hes with NJ Guarantee?? and he needs me to verify if a person is a tenant in a house I rent. He said the person's name I don't recognize.

I have not gotten any letters or correspondence from any company about this, is it a total scam, anyone I can report it to?

He says he's going to send a sheriff with a subpoena to make me appear "when he says to".

I'm about 90% sure this is bogus but thought I'd ask. I spoke to my tenant and they said there was not investigation they were aware of I do know they had an accident maybe a year ago but their name is not what this person gave "Defrane Lewis"??
