New XC90 T8 Ultra - Break In?

Just brought it home with Air Suspension and Rear camera washer. First Volvo after 20 years of Audi/VW products. Bought for safety, lovely design and the PHEV.

I’ve religiously always 1/2 oil interval changes on any car we’ve owned and typically done a 1st oil change on new ones at 1k to carry away shavings and particulate.

Same goes with these?

XC90 Recharge - School Me

Life long gear head and have worked in Automotive R&D with Volvo being a former client of mine (been to Gothenburg, met the team, seen production…) but have never owned one.

On the verge of pulling the trigger on a 26’ XC90 Recharge Ultra with Air Suspension. Costco Executive discount and teacher discount + local incentive amount to -$2,575 off sticker. 2 Questions:

  1. Am I leaving money on the table?
    2)Pretty sold on the air suspension. Fully aware of what that might mean down the road for maintenance and repair. Improved comfort and handling make it worth it?
