Late season snow around 6 pm. It was a bit squirrelly getting up and down to Timberline even with three peak rated tires. Several inches of fresh pow-pow.

Considering how many bird scooters ended up in the Willamette, this is.... bold.

There are plenty of reasons to both like and dislike a service like Waymo. On the positives, the driver is never distracted, tired, upset, or going to harass its occupants. Having rid them, they are (mostly) impressive. On the negative side, the most obvious is that they take away jobs from many people who drive as a primary or secondary source of income. There are also the implications of "you'll own nothing and be happy" and that they increase the panopticon surveillance state ,and these also are leeches on public resources, and interfere with emergency services.
