Why Are My Buds So Browned on the Edges? Due to Early Heatwave or Something to be Concerned About?

This year seems particularly bad for it, with nearly all my buds looking like this to various extents. We did have pretty mild temps with a sudden 88° heatwave dropping back to mild earlier in April, but curious if this is something more than just heat stress as they've been on automatic watering since very early on.

Scrolling through last year's pictures and had forgotten about this incredible cuckoo wasp I caught on one of my peonies. First and so far only I've ever seen, couldn't believe how surreal it looked
