I'm in the PNW and was doing some yard work and went to move a flap of landscape fabric back over the dry well that the plumbers had left flopped over after a flooded crawl space issue and I saw these eggs. I immediately put the fabric back where it was (after snapping a quick photo) and have since left it alone. I was putting down lime, topsoil, and some seeds in this area of the yard before I saw the nest, but I've since avoided the surrounding area for now and will stay away from it for a while. I'm pretty sure the fabric "tent" protected them from the lime scatter, and it's in a spot fenced off from my dogs, as well.

Should I do anything else? There was a crowd of dark eyed juncos on my fence right by this area afterward, so I'm thinking the eggs belong to them. They love to bathe in the dirt in my yard. I'm also pretty positive they've been collecting hair shed from my GSD mix for their nest 🤣.
