My singer 4411 seems to keep randomly skipping stitches. Fabric is a 5 oz cotton poplin. I have tried both 70/10 and 100/16 needles, cleaned my machine, set my tension 3-7 and the problem seems to keep persisting. I don’t feel any snag in the top thread and the bobbin thread seems to move freely (but of course I can’t really see under the fabric to check what the issue is in the moment). I haven’t encountered this before but I usually sew 7-10 oz fabrics. Does anyone have any idea what the issue might be?
