Canada- Vancouver work opportunity for specialists and GP's
Hey everyone,
I am a Family Physician based in Vancouver, BC. I trained as a GP in the UK and moved over in 2021 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time practicing here. I have also helped colleagues move over who have then gone onto have similar experiences.
On a side note, I know moving abroad can be a daunting step- but honestly I would strongly recommend anyone (especially GP's) to take look at Canada (I am sure Australia will be similar) and the different packages you can obtain in each province as the work life balance and earnings are just life changing.
We currently operate a physician owned clinic in Vancouver with a patient base of 13,000 and are in the process of opening a new 3,000-square-foot multidisciplinary medical centre in Vancouver by the end of 2026.
The new facility will include a combination of specialist physicians, family physicians, an on-site pharmacy and diagnostic services such as ECG and Holter monitoring. We are looking to welcome a select number of specialists to join the centre. Our intention is to customize each clinical space according to the specific needs and workflow of each specialist.
Our vision is to create a friendly and collegial environment and we are looking for like minded people who may be interested in providing some of their clinical hours at this location.
