A spreadsheet to see if it's worth changing to an EV tariff
HI there, I am getting an EV soon and working out if to get an EV tariff or stay as I am was a nightmare. I then decided to get solar and that adds another layer, and then a battery another layer.
So I decided to create a spreadsheet where you can put in the average miles your ev is getting per charge, your house KWH usage because that affects the decision. The I thought what if I got a battery and charged that daily on a EV tariff and used that during the day etc. SO i created a spreadsheet. The working out are hidden using white writing , so you can see the working outs if you make empty spaces black pen. Only change data in bold in the darker blue columns. It was interesting when I was playing around, that depending on mileage, it might be better to stay as you are(I am on a fixed rate). But add in a battery and wow.
