Anyone else have a sudden uptick in “return to shelf” balloon orders with inflation? We had two last week that were return to shelf the morning before inflation was due, only to have the customer show up on time for the original pickup and throw an unholy FIT that they’re not ready? And of course an even bigger fit that they’d have to pay for them.

It happened twice last week. But it had never happened once in my store before that. Seems kind of scammy to me. Maybe it’s just a coincidence that it never happened before. We’ve definitely had no-shows in which we were just out the balloons and the helium and they didn’t have to pay anything.

Seems to me it shouldn’t JUST be a hold applied when it’s a tangible good with an expiration.

Has anyone gotten their labor allocation for pricing updates yet? I’ve got a boat load of workload to get done, and we’re currently scheduled extremely light.. yet still 4 hours over. Curious if anyone in management knows any information. I know i’m going to have to add some people to get them done,. My SM is on vacation and we really don’t want to bother her. RM here, btw, and between me and our CEM, we’re trying to have a relatively smooth week.

I realize that there’s a lot of frustration in the company right now.. but please don’t use this post as an opportunity to vent about it too much. I really need to focus on this relevant information, and I’m sure other MODs are going to need it as well. SMs please chime in if you can help with any information.

For context, we’re actually running about a week ahead on our workload, so we’re not behind. But the pricing updates announcement could ultimately put us behind.

Has anyone successfully paired a wireless earbud to the MiniMiks yet, and if so how did you do it? Also, AirPods or another brand?
