Hi I'm new to UB and I have a few questions and I would be very grateful for any advice.

As someone coming from the west coast is there any sort of culture shock that's to be expected? I am aware the weather is very different and I do not intend to freeze my ass off freshman year so any layering advice would also be lovely.
How does the PNY scholarship work. I'm receiving military benefits so I qualify for residency that changed my Provost scholarship into PNY. I get the general idea of not covering any tuition but I'm curious to know what it's paying towards specifically.
If there is anyone in the engineering department: Do we have access to Solid Works or another CAD through UB, or is it individually funded?
