LG Stove doesn’t cook as well
I recently bought an LG LREN6323YE (electric) stove, and I am having trouble acclimating to the cooktop. I had a GE for 17 years that was also a glass top, and maybe I just need more time?
For context: Every day, I make a scrambled egg with spinach, cooked in butter, in a small Lodge cast iron skillet. On the GE, it was perfect. Non-stick, little curds, etc. On the LG, it’s like the pan doesn’t get hot enough, but the egg sticks and doesn’t “curd up” the right way, the spinach doesn’t wilt. Am I getting the pan too hot? Not hot enough? Using the wrong burner size? I have tried using both whole big burner and the smaller inner size, to no avail.
Any advice?
