This conversation occurred at the pub a lotttlw while ago, and I was wondering if somebody might have some llight to shed on the matter.
When we speak of the Resurrection and Pascha, of Christ tramping down death by death, the word used in the Greek is Thanatos, as I'm sure we're all aware. Does anyone know of any particular theologgical significance in this, as the term is usually associated specifically with peaceful death.
Cheers!
