Never done perspective before and trying to make a background for my friend but I have no idea how to add stuff thats not on the back wall please help

My buddy wants a background for his YouTube videos and because im the art friend i agreed to do it for him but I’ve never done perspective before and am just a bad artist in general lol. I found this grid on Pinterest and stretched it to get what I wanted but now idk what type of perspective it is now or where the vanishing point is. The 3rd pic is what im trying to add so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Do I need to just scrap it and start over or can I salvage this?
