I need some advice about my dog and how to proceEd.
My gsd attacked the neighbours dog for the fourth time tonight. she was right out front of my door when I went to take him out to pee. she is blind and deaf and they don’t leash her. I feel absolutely terrible that my dog did this as he is typically incredibly friendly with all animals. he has never attacked any other animal, ever. anyways the neighbours want financial help for the vet bills. honestly, I don’t personally think I should help as they’ve been told so many times to keep their dog on their side of the property and they just don’t listen. she constantly poops right in front of my front door. I am also not in the financial position to help as we are behind in rent.
what should I do? I’d really like to help out but I just can’t afford it and I don’t think I should because they werent paying attention to her again. we also live on a hwy so I’m not sure why they don’t leash her. please be honest.
