Just saw this posted on the r/J*w*sh sub and was wondering if anyone knew of other coverage of this besides the ziontologist rag linked here. Any Canadians know more about this? Thanks!

For those who attend city council meetings or tune in virtually, is it not incredibly strange that our city council does a Christian invocation before starting council meetings? Doesn’t this create an atmosphere of hostility for those who don’t share a Christian faith?

Does anyone know when these invocations started at the council meetings? It just seems strange and against the overall doctrine of separation between church and state in the Bill of Rights.
