About 6 months ago, our 7 year old dog that was born in our closet, was stolen out of our backyard in Carlsbad. We have been trying everything: posters, craigslist, nextdoor, etc.. we haven't been able to find him. We miss Buddy terribly. If you see this dog, please take him to the vet and say he's lost. He has his chip with our info, and we are leaving the area very soon. Any replies would also be appreciated. If you find him, DM me, please.

I've been seeing a ton of yard signs in Cardiff and Solana Beach and happened to get a door tag for Summer Boger who is running for the local school board. I noticed she says she's a Holistic Health Practitioner which caught my eye. The more I search her name, the more I find about her being MAGA, anti-vaxx, etc.

There are also plenty of comments from folks on Nextdoor that support the claims of her political leanings. Start here, and the official AP photo kind of says a lot: https://nextdoor.com/p/Hft3wmFqStNg/?view=detail

Heads up because she has blanketed the city with her signs, and they look super cheery and innocent. Not so at all.

EDIT to clarify, she is running for San Dieguito Union High School District's school board.

Happened at about 12pm today, patient was successfully recovered in the basket. Confused coyote can be seen booking it at 3 seconds, bottom of frame.

This poor husky looked distressed and did not look like it was harnessed. It was in the back of this white truck.

In the photo you can see that there appears to be no leash/harness that would allow for the dog to be cross tethered to the truck bed.

IF YOU SEE SOMETHING LIKE THIS - Call CHP non-emergency line to report vehicle description and license plate #. The officer will ask where and when you witnessed the event.

(I called Humane Society to report this, but they stated that incidences on freeways are under California Highway Patrol’s jurisdiction.)

My mother’s tortoise escaped her enclosure yesterday off of Ranger Rd between Mission and Reche Rd. She is devastated and we are doing anything we can to find her. If you have any information please contact me.
