Anyone in North County play table tennis?

Looking for somewhere to play table tennis around Oceanside/Carlsbad/Vista, casually or competitively. I’m a pretty experienced/competitive player and would love to find other solid players to practice with and keep improving.

I’m down for open play, clubs, leagues, whatever. Also, if anyone has a table and is looking for someone around a similar skill level to play with, I’d be down to meet up. I’ll bring snacks.

Any spots, groups, or players you guys know of?

JPM Private Client Advisor with CFP but no direct advisor experience?

I’m thinking about applying for a PCA role at JPM. I do have my CFP, but I don’t really have direct advisor experience yet. No personal book, haven’t really done managed money sales, and I haven’t been the main person running planning meetings before. I searched around and read some older posts but most of the people posting already seemed pretty established before joining. I’m more trying to figure out if this is actually a realistic entry point for someone who’s newer to the production side of things.

Basically wondering:

is this actually a good way to break into advisor work or are they really expecting someone who already knows how to sell/gather assets?

what’s the training/ramp like for someone coming in without a ton of direct advisor experience? did the pay feel fair for the grind?

and for anyone who’s done the job, what caught you off guard or what do you wish you knew beforehand?
