I found my pencil without its tip thinking it somehow got unscrewed and lost, only to find out at the Apple Store that a portion of it is still stuck in there (making it impossible to screw a replacement tip). I’m guessing someone at home accidentally knocked it over the counter I left it on and was afraid to tell me. What’s done is done, and I bought a new pencil.

But does anyone have a suggestion how to get that portion out of there? It would be nice if this can still be saved as a back up.
