My LOQ crashed n says that the boot device is missing
Hi everyone, I have a Lenovo LOQ 15AHP10.
My laptop suddenly crashed, and after restarting it, it couldn’t boot into Windows. It goes to the boot menu, but the only option available is EFI PXE Network.
I checked the BIOS and under Information → Hard Disk, it says:
Hard Disk: [Not Detected]
Other BIOS information:
Model: LOQ 15AHP10
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 250 with Radeon 780M Graphics
RAM: 16 GB
BIOS: R8CN23WW
Secure Boot: Enabled
I am not trying to boot from a USB. The laptop was working normally before the crash.
Could this mean the SSD has failed, or could it be a BIOS/connection issue? Is there anything I can safely try before opening the laptop or sending it for repair?
I also have important files on the SSD, so I don’t want to reinstall Windows or format anything before knowing what’s wrong.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
