I got ants coming out of my keyboard I took off the back and didn’t find any and I don’t really want to get any deeper into the laptop and I want to get rid of them

Finally after long time I just clean my game pass my specification is RTX 5060 RYZEN 7 250W 32GB RAM I am confused should I buy the controller id yes so can you suggest me some under ₹2500-/

i happend me to few days ago so i restarted and its gone

but it happened again 😞 and it come back with 3 tab bar isse

i dont why it's happening but when i restart my loq it get fixed.

Don't know the blue rubber thing .it is like a dust from an eraser .Help me . Found it while cleaning the laptop. Raised a ticket but they said it is a thermocol. Don't know what to do 😭

as you can see in stress test my cpu touch 75w still doesn't hit 100c but while in Forza horizon 6 my cpu power is 35 to 40w but still touch 86c

So this happened to my screen i had it for 3 years so i guess its expected but anyone knows how to fix this? Has anyone else had this issue? What are my options? I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal but is annoying af its a 16aph8

My specs:
Lenovo LOQ | i5-12450H | RTX 4060 Laptop | 16GB DDR5 | Gen4 SSD | 32°C room (no AC, India)
The problem:
Was getting 90-100 FPS in Apex Legends. Felt wrong for a 4060. Pulled HWiNFO logs and found the CPU was hitting 100°C and thermally throttling 100% of every single gaming session. GPU was sitting at 30% load, starved by the throttled CPU.

What I tried in order:

1. NVIDIA settings, dGPU mode, Lenovo Vantage Performance mode
2. Baseline stuff. Didn’t fix it. CPU was the bottleneck not GPU settings.

Lenovo’s EC overrides MSR limits via MMIO. Capping PL2 removed CPU burst headroom that Apex needs, while thermal throttle continued anyway. Don’t do this on the LOQ.
Note: undervolting is locked on i5-12450H (12th gen Alder Lake). Don’t waste time trying.

5. PTM7950 phase change thermal pad
   Result: +26 FPS on top of repaste, +60 FPS total (85 → 145 avg FPS)
   • CPU avg temp dropped from 95.7°C to 83°C
   • Thermal throttling went from 100% → 10.4%
   • GPU load jumped from 30% → 52%
   • CPU can now sustain 49.5W avg vs 30W before
   • Max FPS hit 298 in a session

Why PTM7950 worked so much better than regular paste:
It’s a phase change material — melts above ~45°C and flows into every microscopic gap, then resolidifies when cool. Reseats itself every gaming session. No pump-out, never dries. Perfect for a CPU that sees 95°C heat cycles constantly

NOTE: 3rd row (hm501v2 is actually arctic mx6 chnage in the image)

Just got my LOQ in January and wanted to ask if these temps look normal or if I should be worried.

Specs:
i5-13450HX
RTX 4050
16GB RAM

While gaming (GTA V here), CPU goes around 90-92°C and I noticed thermal throttling hit “Yes” once in HWiNFO. GPU stays around 76-78°C.

I’m using a laptop cooler already, but my room is non-AC and the area I live in is pretty hot (around 35°C ambient most days). Running the laptop in Custom Mode.

Are these temps expected for this setup/environment or should I tweak something like undervolting/fan curve/power limits?

Loq i5-13450HX & 100 days out of warranty renewal period. Display while watching a video randomly appeared with lines and they are reflecting the part above seems like it's the panel unfortunately.

Doesn't seem like it's the cable problem and will have to go to get it replaced. Man i don't wanna spend 12-13k on this now 😭😭

average normal battery life for regular use vs gaming

Any tips for preserving the battery for the long run

My device is out of warranty, can replace only the upper coating of the touchpad. I need to replace the whole touchpad and what will be the cost and any cheap fix?

I've tried updating my drivers, closing out/ending any unneeded windows, and restarting. This happens almost whenever I play any game or watch YouTube. Could this be a Norton 360 issue?

So I was putting skin on my laptop on my own. It was less skin than i thought there was. So a bit was left out after I was done with the top (cause i didn't have enough for keyboard). But i had an idea to finally defeat the sun most of us are annoyed by. And put a piece of the sticker on the power button. It worked fine, but I missed the light indicator for the performance mode. So, in conclusion, this is my final solution to it. Just put cuts in a circular format then brush finger over it to make small displacements between the cuts.
