TBH after reading all the bad reviews of MITS gwalior, i felt like it wasnt that bad like the teachers felt super nice, the examination and evaluation preocess was explained really good, infact the crowd which i was really afraid of, it wasnt that bad i mean there are people who do intimidate me but rest felt good. However 10 am to 6 pm, including travel thatds like 10 hrs of my day spend only with college. I need help seniors how do you maintain ur schedule, i mean there are people who are preparing for GATE and off campus placement as well, how do i do it pls help !

(Pata hai aaj kya hua) After the start of freedom sale i was trying to get my hands on the LOQ Ryzen 7 250 rtx 5050 which i was getting for 1,10,000 /- after credit card, however the card declined the first time due to low limit and then the payment failed again after 2 days. I missed the chance of getting this laptop for under 1,20,000 /- ( my original budget was 80k-90k ). Then i checked today the laptop was available but with 512 gb ssd instead of 1tb ssd for a whoping 1,39,990 /- price. I left all hope and was started to look for Asus TUF f15 with ryzen 7 170 and RTX 3050. But guesse what, my dear father saw my sad face, then took me to Reliance Digital and we got the same laptop for 1,28,022 /- including following things :

1. 4 yrs warranty which will literally cover my entire Btech
2. 1 yr insurance which covers everything like accidental damgae, water spill and literally CHORI as well.
3. i get a laptop bag with sleeve
4. i got a keyboard mouse combo of zebronics (pretty basic)
5. I literally have no words to thank my father, his budget was 90k but even in this expensive economy of laptops he bought me this costly laptop which i really wanted. I am feeling a lot guilty since tbh i might need these specs ( since i have cs with design ) to future proof, but going this out of budget was really unexpected. TRULY A FATHER WILL DO ANYTHING FOR HIS FAMILY !

should i compensate display, battery, build quality, tdp for rtx 5060 ?

or should i get the tuf which is quite expensive. all i want is to save a bit money so is it reasonable to go for v16 gaming ?

How is the crowd here, do people even know about CP. Have any team dome ICPC ?

I know that CSD lies under CSE department but it is not the course but the companies might prefer a studnet with CSE over CSD since it is more design based course, should i go for upgrade or take it ?

I got objection raised in two of docs ( cast cert and domicile )
I re uploaded my cast certificate and clicked submit, after clicking submit another window showed up with same reupload option, i clicked without thinking much and uploaded the same caste cert again. Then after clicking submit it sayed that i have no docs to reupload anymore (in greent color font). But i only uploaded my cast certificate not mine domicile.
What i believe that in both querries my caste certificate has been uplaoded.
I am genuinely scared because it said that it will be the last chance to upload the doc.
Is there any way out of it or am i just COOKED ?

I spent 7 years with a 4gb ram core i3 10th gen laptop and missed gaming all these years. Now that i am going to university i have got a choice to make, either get a Mac m5 air with 24gb ram or get the loq 15th gen with rtx 5050. I know if i buy mac for coding, i will get the best out of it but i dont want to regret later that i got mac over a gaming laptop just for coding. I do play war thunder and roblox a bit so will mac air m5 able to get me through it or should i get the loq ?
