I have a MAC and am frustrated that so many games are windows based. I came across this app Crossover that supposedly lets Mac users play windows based games. Does anyone have experience with this app ? Does it work ?

Just got an M5 Air, and I desperately need to play DMC. Does anybody have a step by step tutorial with how I can get the game and play it on my laptop? I don't have any controllers or anything, and I am really not well versed regarding emulators and stuff so can somebody please help me?
Down in Bermuda has a Mac port and Tomb Raider I-III Remastered runs well in Crossover. You can also use other solutions like Sikarugir or Heroic launcher with GPTK/Wine.

I was deeply disappointed by the actual game Gord. What should have been a masterpiece on paper failed and was abandoned even. I would go a step further and broaden the scope, taking out the exploration/survival and RPG elements and make it more conservative/classic.
I am not a game dev, I have no idea about it but I am good at ideas and concepts, and I played a lot of all the classics we all love. My main platform would be macOS, because this is where I am and feel a lack of titles for.
At this point, any conversation and evaluations would be purely hypothetical.
Hi All - I want to try both of these on my M4 air. I’m new to Mac gaming so I’m not sure if they’d work particularly well. Obviously I don’t need high settings or super high frame rate, just something playable (I mainly play on an OG PS4 for reference).

We know by now that Cyberpunk 2077 on Mac only uses AMD FSR 3 for frame generation and does not support advanced denoising technologies. It is possible that Apple miswrote the technical details on the website. Alternatively, perhaps they will release a newer Metal 4 version later to introduce these technologies—I certainly hope so!
DRG:RC was released today. As a player of the original DRG, I expected it to work pretty well using the latest crossover preview. But it seems there are constant stuttering when you start the mission. Sometimes the stuttering will stop themselves but sometimes they simply won’t. Anyone having the same problem?
I just bought the Mac Neo, and I'm still trying to figure out how to play games from Steam. Whisky is discontinued, as far as I know. Sikarugir doesn't work no matter what I try, and Crossover is an option, but it costs money, so I'm hesitant to go that route. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.
So line the title says new version of Genshin dropped. When I went to update it through crossover I got this error. Is it over for me or did I do something wrong? Maybe a clean install (I gotta find all those files)

It's a pixel-art management sim where you design and operate your own haunted house dark ride. I've actually never created a game before, and am truly happy with how inituitive it is to use GDevelop and create a game that's entirely what I envisioned.

Hey guys, I’m completely new to the whole MacOS ecosystem and recently bought m5 air and got Xbox Cloud Gaming subscription as a freebie from the electronics store.I’m now looking for a good third-party controller that works properly with MacOS and preferably has Hall Effect or TMR joysticks
I’ve already gone through three official Xbox controllers, and every single one eventually developed stick drift. I’m honestly tired of dealing with it at this point
Right now I’m confused between brands like 8BitDo, GameSir, Kreo, PowerA, etc. The problem is that most of their websites don’t clearly explain MacOS compatibility, Bluetooth support, button mapping, vibration support or whether everything works properly with Xbox Cloud Gaming

Recently got an Apple Refurb M4 Air Base model at an awesome price after I returned the neo, been super happy with it thus far. However, neither Siege nor Apex are natively available on Mac. Wondering if there's a workaround, and if i should even bother without active cooling or a discrete GPU.

I just saw a few posts about running Linux on Mac, and it got me thinking about installing linux on my M4 Mac mini with 16 GB of ram and maybe running games on it using translation layers (preferably Forza Horizon 5 or 6). Is it possible? It doesn’t have to be Asahi can I use other Linux distros too?
Edit: I also have a macbook Air with an M2 chip. I need to know if games that don’t work through crossover will work after installing linux and using a suitable compatibility layer for that distribution.
