I am looking to buy a new Motherboard after my old MSI b450 one started malfunctioning along with my CPU.
I'm planning on getting a 5500x3d or 5700x and pairing it with a B550.
Right now I am torn between two models that are costing the exact same:
Asus TUF B550m Plus
Vs
MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus
Both seem very robust and full of features so, for the exact same price, what would be your pick?

So, long story short, I had to RMA my 5700x3d and unfortunately AMD did not have any in stock to give me so they reimbursed me for a pretty decent amount.
So now I face a dilemma, since the 5700x3d is discontinued and I can't find it at any retailers here in Brazil, I managed to find the 5500x3d and the 5700x for similar prices and don't know what to choose.
My pc is 90% for gaming since my productivity tasks are very light in computing. While the 5500x3d will definitely yield better results, especially in competitive games, will I miss the extra 2 cores long term for the near future triple A games? Or is the x3D memory absolutely worth it over the 2 cores? I plan on keeping this pc as is for the next few years at least.
(I did think about getting a B650 and a 7600x but the DDR5 ram completely ruins the value proposition so I'll stay with my 16gbs of ddr4 and am4)
