Timing of these events?

Twins Suns aired in March, 2017 and Solo came out May, 2018 (so about a year apart).

From a story perspective - does it make sense to structure things this way? We see Maul die in Rebels, and then turn around and suddenly he’s a major player in the Star Wars Universe again?

Obviously Star Wars is notorious for being non linear, but in hindsight would it have been better to continue Maul’s story from the end of the Clone Wars and then move in the Shadow Lord, Solo, Rebels?

Before Reddit
Before the forums of Gamespot and IGN and other internet gaming sites, what were your sources for hearing about and discussing video games?

For me it was

Watching the Electric Playground on SPACE

Watching Video & Arcade Top 10 on Saturday afternoon with friends on YTV.

Flipping through Electronic Gaming Monthly at the school library with friends talking about the super mysterious PlayStation 2 and Project Dolphin.

And of course, any Ocarina of Time fan would have been checking out the Odyssey of Hyrule as one of their first game specific fan sites.

What comes to mind for you?

Which N64 games had the most significant jump from first level to the last level/boss fight?

As much as I as I love Majora’s Mask, it sometimes does feel like the journey from the Woodfall temple to fighting Majora on the Moon is a bit streamlined compared to going from the great Deku Tree to fighting Ganon in the final battle.

That doesn’t reflect the quality of Majora’s Mask’s dungeons or side quests, more just the reality of the quick development time.

Some other examples that come to mind:

  1. Diddy Kong Racing: Ancient Lake to Wizpig Strikes back.

  2. Goldeneye: Dam to Cradle (or Egyptian if you unlocked that).

  3. Shadows of the Empire: Battle of Hoth to the Skyhook battle.

What are some of your favourites? 🤔
