I don't fully comprehend how this card works. I just got it from a $20 random box at my LGS. I find them to be a simple way of getting bulk (with 10+ rares guaranteed) to fill out my collection.

Anyhow, can this card be my commander? If so, can I include white, black and colorless cards in the deck? Also, how exactly does this card "work"?
