Second Hand Market
Hi all! I am new-ish to collecting, a few months ago I decided screw it I'm gonna collect AG even though I feel like I am way too old for it because they make me happy.
This was all just before Christmas last year and when I first started looking at the second hand market it seemed a little high but nothing too crazy, I figured "okay its Christmas so demand is high, lets see how it is after the holidays"
But now with the 40th it just seems like everything is going up and up with no signs of stopping. My question is for people that have been collecting a long while, is it always like this? Was the 35th Anniversary this nuts too or is this time different?
Of course people can sell things for however much they want to but it just feels so disheartening to be priced out of most things when I only just started.
Of course its not all second hand sellers, disappointed with mattel/ag too since they brought back all these dolls with no clothes to go with them. If I was a little kid I would be so sad that my doll didn't have outfits to go with them :(
