Needing a filter on my well.

I am looking to install a filter system on the well of a house I am going to buy from my parents. I got the water tested by a local company and they gave me a quote on a system. My question is… is the 3500 system
Needed or is anything missing? The water has a metallic taste and turns the usual things red if it’s not cleaned often. The test to me doesn’t seem terrible but could be better.

So this is a house that was built in 79. The pressure tank is in a now remodeled part of the garage in a closet. The tank only has one pipe going to it so there has to be a T under the house somewhere that goes to the well and to
The rest of the house. I am wanting to cut out that T and straight pipe to the pressure tank and then turn the closet the pressure tank is in into a filter system. I’m not afraid of doing the work myself if it can save me money. But if the system is going to be expensive no matter what then I guess I will just pay to have them install it.

One thing I will say is that I remember growing up if we used the sprinkler a lot for the garden or forgot it was on we would get sand in the water. I brought this up to the company that gave me a quote but I am not sure if what the recommended would help
With that. There is a second well drilled next to the house without a pump that I might rig up for outside use eventually.
