Im a new-ish player and im looking for some concrete information. I am on 8.0.

I ‘only’ have around 90 or so hours into my first play-through (all DLC included)

Ive been seeing a ton of discussion about how playermade wharfs, shipyards, and maintenance bays essentially give you infinite money.

But i just do not get much income from them at all.

As far as i understand, a faction will only “place an order” from your fabricators if they need replacing of a ship they lost or want to build a fleet to attack an enemy.

Im assuming i need the blueprints for said ships as well as positive relations, otherwise they will just ignore my fabricators.

I have placed my own wharf and maintenance bay (S/M) in Getsu Fune and Hatikva’s Choice I where xenon pour out and fights happen all the time

Not a soul comes to my wharfs for repairs or for building ships. They are fully stocked with traders and 2-3 star managers. I have various blueprints for TER, ARG and ANT. Over 20 relations for both TER and ARG and over 10 with ANT.

Please, why are my wharfs just being essentially completely ignored? Some ships do come on occasion, but otherwise nothing to actually earn tangible credits. What am i doing wrong here?

TLDR: my S/M fabrication and maintenance bays arent making me any real money, am i doing anything wrong?

EDIT: yes i have assigned a ship trader, he is ‘1 star’ but i dont know if that affects anything
