2013 Scion FR-S that I was planning to take to the track this weekend. After replacing the wheel bearing twice now I’m realizing that there is only side-to-side wheel shake, meaning it’s probably the tie rod? You cannot visibly see the wheel shake, but you can definitely hear it clinking. I have to get this signed off by a mechanic so obviously it is up to them to sign it off, but how big of a deal is this if I’m going to be driving hard on a track for ~200 miles?
