i have two sungold tomato plants on the left (teddy and tomas). should i get some sort of mini trellis for them or let them flop and do their thing?

i received the aerogarden found in the photo below for Christmas and just opened it now. turns out their are no instructions inside or on the listing on Amazon. i definitely don't have a green thumb so does anyone have any useful guides, step by step videos, tips and tricks etc? do you have to buy the aerogarden specific pods, or can you use regular seeds and soil? thank you 🌱
