Had a good run with some habaneros.
215 days on these habaneros. They gave me a good final harvest!

These are heirloom cherry tomatoes and a jalapeno plant on the right from the salsa set.
What do you guys recommend at this stage? I haven't really pruned the tomato plant because I was waiting for some fruit to appear but it's pretty big at this point.
Should I try to get a pot to transplant into? What's best way to do this? I live in an apartment fyi
I just got a brand new Aerogarden (the tiny one, I think it’s called Sprout) so I can have fresh herbs. I want to start my herbs, but I’m traveling on and off (from a few days to up to 10 days at a time) for the next two months. How often does water need to be added? Particularly when the plants are young?
i have two sungold tomato plants on the left (teddy and tomas). should i get some sort of mini trellis for them or let them flop and do their thing?
The ones in my Aero garden with the pump is fuller and more dense, but hasn't even begun to flower yet while the knockoff ones smaller but it's already producing a bunch of tomatoes. Any ideas? What can I do to make the one in the air garden start to bloom ? Prune ?

My boyfriend bought this from a coworker for $30. From what I understand, this is a classic 6 and they are discontinued? One of the bulbs is missing, and I have not tried to plug it in. This is my first hydroponic system. I am looking for any and all help on understanding everything about this!
I set up my new AeroGarden sprout last night and this morning went to reset the schedule, following the instructions in the booklet. When I hold the light button for 5 seconds, it starts flashing very erratically. Is this the expected behavior?
Having grown weary of buying grocery store basil in those little single-use plastic packages that don't last in the fridge anyway, I thought I would trying starting my own plant this season.
My efforts to grow basil indoors in some potting soil have been... disappointing. I have little sprouts, but the process is very slow-going even after six weeks, and now I have some yellow mushrooms popping up next to the sprouts, haha. I guess that's what I get for borrowing potting soil and used containers of unknown history.
Hubby took a look and said, "I don't think this is working. You're probably going to have to get one of those indoor herb gardens with a lamp like the neighbor has."
Fine. You win (or the basil wins?). Asked my neighbor, did some research, and ordered an Aerogarden Bounty, on sale Amazon Prime Days for $84 (do I understand correctly people used to pay upwards of $400 for these back in the day?). It looks like a nice setup with the 40W lamp, touchscreen, and the irrigated grow deck vs. just a circulator pump like on the Sprout/Harvest models, albeit more of a pain to clean. Should have it in about a week.
I'm looking forward primarily to growing herbs, especially basil, and maybe salad greens. If that's a success I might venture into some of those cherry tomatoes, but those sound like a lot of work for the actual yield vs. an outdoor plant.
I also ordered a Grow Anything kit. The generic pod kits look promising, but there are always these negative reviews about the sponge quality, so it's hard to know what's good. For now I'll try the OEM versions and see how that goes.
Q1: Are there particular varieties of lettuce that are good to start with in the Bounty?
Q2: Can I grow lettuce and basil at the same time?
Happy gardening!
Lots of maintenance to keep them from killing one and other but everything is flourishing.
I chose mignonette alpine strawberries for my first attempt at an indoor hydroponics machine. Ill keep updates when I can finally take the caps off! Im also growing the same strawberries from seeds in a (eventually) outdoor pot as an expirement to see of they grow differently in different environments.
Hi so this is my first first time growing Tiny Tim tomatoes in Aerogarden and just tomatoes in general. Should I trim this or let it grow? Any other tips appreciated TIA
Hello!
This is my current progress. The dill and Thai basil are getting pretty crazy so I’d like to prune (preen?) them and re-pot them. I’m not sure the best way to do this and I’m just looking for some tips and tricks! I previously picked a bunch off the other basil I have and it hasn’t grown back the same so I’m not sure if I did that wrong… Pruning tools, ways to prune (parts of the plant to remove etc) and also some recommendations for pots to relocate some of the larger ones would be appreciated 😊
This is my second attempt after the first failed one, and the same symptom seems to be happening again.
Last time, everything was green and great, then the leaves will start wilting and crispy and brown dots. Fruits will not get big (same symptom as non-pollinated, but this cucumber is Iznik so it doesn’t need pollination)
My research from last time said I might have nutrition deficiency, so this time I already added CalMag to my basin. I also clean my basin and everything to avoid fungus. So I am not really sure why this is happening again and what else I need to do.
Anyone has tips?
I had a Bounty Elite Artisan that I had to retire because the touchscreen started registering random taps. It would beep randomly, reset the clock to a random time, and no amount of rebooting/powercycling/massaging the touch components made a difference.
I bought a Bounty Basic to replace it. I'm using the Bounty Artisan's bowl and it works fine. Is there any way to use the light or should I try to sell it for parts?
It mechanically fits together, but when it doesn't turn on. I noticed that the DC adapter on the Basic puts out lower amperage and has a different sized barrel connector, so I can't just swap that over too.
