I have had my Aerogarden Bounty for several years. I always try to clean it out thoroughly before reusing. But I keep having Algae issues.

What is the best way to clean the pump to ensure Algae isn't still in it?

Also while growing, is it sufficient to just add a bit of hydrogen peroxide in when I add the plant nutrients and water (topping it off)? Or do I need to dump all the water and scrub the tank every two weeks?

I already keep the stickers on the seedlings and caps on as long as I can. I made sure there are no uncovered holes. Any other tips besides the hydrogen peroxide every couple weeks?
