Death spiral and spiral reaper hybrid

I was asked to share this. We grew a death spiral plant and a Carolina reaper plant next to each other. We were able to cross pollinate them before the reaper had an unfortunate accident and the stem snapped 😔. But the spiral stayed and it's reaching the end of it's life cycle now.

The little fat one is the hybrid before it turned red.

He's some pics. They are insanely hot. 1.2 to pushing 2 million Scoville. They are tasty but dangerous 😂 the heat hits instantly like a kick in the nuts with a nice citrus finish.

Someone dropped a tender in the frier and forgot about it…

What a lovely surprise to find when cleaning at end of service

I figured it out

I used a 45 degree chamfer bit and 2 stop blocks and clamped a straight block along the length.

How do I make this cut?

This seems basic but I'm relatively new to making these posts. Any tips would be really appreciated!

Restoration job

This one was in dire straights. I had to hit it with full strength pool shock from a pump sprayer before I pressure washed it to kill all the algae, lichen, mold, and mildew.

New rails and rotten boards replaced. Washed, sanded the floor. We stain tomorrow.

What say the community? Let's hear how bad it is to use bleach.

Indoor Freshwater Red Mangrove

Not sure if this counts. We grew this from a propagule on the kitchen counter. Then transferred to a fish tank, then to a bigger fish tank. It's about 6 years old now. It had a bout with thrips, but thanks to minute pirate bugs we were able to get rid of them. Right now it's home to a bristle nose pleco.

Found in the wild. Had to share.

Was asked to replace the floor boards and railings. I'm not touching this disaster 😂. The longer I looked the worse it got. I wouldn't even walk on it to see the floor.

Can I save this?

Hoping to just replace a couple boards and save the frame. Anyone see any issues?

Is this safe

Ok, trying again. I'm a deck builder by trade. This picture came up in discussions and we were wondering if this could safely hold a 6000lb hot tub plus people.

I don't know a lot about structural steel, but we are under the impression this isn't cantilevered and only bolted to the building. Which seems like a lot of weight is counting on those bolts.

I can't post in the engineering subs because I lack specific karma and the ask engineering sub doesn't allow pictures.

We rate decks in how many hot tubs it will hold before it collapses. Will this hold even 1 tub before someone dies? We think it looks terrifying lol
