Anyone every saw something like this on a Severum? He's red spotted but not very dark, and he clearly has the dark colored stripes coming in hence why I lean male, but his fins are darkening up too, which concerns me. His appetite and behavior are fine, the whole tank is rather peaceful with just the occasional chase and this particular fish in question is 1 of the most confident eaters in the tank next to the acara.

PH Is 7.4-7.5 which i know is a bit high for these guys but hes not a wild caught obviously

Nitrites-<5ppm

Filtration is 2 - 75 gph over the back filters (forgot brand) and 1 sponge filter running 55 gph

Keep Aquarium salt dosages at 1Tbsp per 5gallon consistently to ward off parasites and bacteria issues

I dont have a hardness test kit, but all the other cichlids are doing fine.

1 Demon Cichlid ( dont yell at me that he is supposed to be in a group, he looked so sad in the LFS all alone and ill gladly rehome him if I find anyone with a schoal)

1 Demon Cichlid (He was all alone at the LFS so i gave him a bigger home, id like to find someone with a school and rehome him eventually they are not very common fish in my area though)

8 Giant danio

3 Spotted Raphael.

I feel like this tank may be a little crowded when everyone grows up, but this is my first SA cichlid tank so opinions anyone? Ideally id like to add either a pair of dwarfs, Bolivian rams or some apistos, OR maybe 1 royal acara.
