Any time I'm playing online I get severe lag spikes every few seconds (or minutes if I'm lucky). I'm on a wireless connection, which I'm aware isn't ideal, but I live with my family and am unable to run an ethernet from the router.
When I test network speed and statistics, all is well except packet loss is often 1% and wireless strength is often as low as 92%.
I've tried alternate ports, switching my DNS to cloudfare, hard resetting the console and unplugging it, resetting the router, and updating the console. Router doesn't have issues with any other devices.
Network is 1g 5ghz, usually just my console, a smart tv and a few phones using it at a time. Router is *maybe* 15 feet from my room, kinda on the other side of my doorway (not a thick wall or any electronics between).
Has anyone had this issue? If so, have you found a solution other than using a direct connection?
