Has anyone tried the new S&W CSX E-Series? I'm wondering if it's comparable to the Shield Plus

I used to have a Shield Plus and long story short, that one was confiscated and I'm looking for a replacement. I want something with an external hammer and I did really like the Shield and how it was a great standard for reliability.

So how do people like the CSX? Has anyone had issues? I'm also seeking recommendations for a good kaidex holster for it and wondering if it's compatible with any kind of lights given the lack of a bottom rail.

My girlfriend is convinced beyond a doubt that if a can or 12 pack of soda is dropper and dented, that it is no longer safe to consume.

If I drop a pack of soda for example, boom! Micro bacteria can get into it even if it's still pressurized and only slightly dented. Apparently she is convinced that it can cause micro fractures that can allow bacteria into the can even if it doesn't leak at all. I absolutely cannot fathom how a sealed can could be contaminated in any way from being dropped. So is this true or is she just being neurotic about food safety?
