Brave Eskie defeats double doodle

America's favorite new designer dogs? Absolute trash compared to the tenacity and prowess of the Eskie.

Walter wrestled this labradoodle and later a golden doodle at the dog park today.

Walter going shark mode

I've heard of Eskies going shark mode before (I've seen some videos of Albie, king of the sub, going shark mode). And Walter likes to play "Bite Your Dad" and "Rub Your Face All Over Mom's Body Pillow and Bite at the Air." Plus I like to hide under the blankets and ambush him when he's chewing on one of his stuffed animals. But I never expected him to turn the tables on me by burrowing his head under said pillow and go FULL SHARK. Sorry for the long post, I'm just so proud 🥲.

The audio is weird because I've been instructed to mask our voices, plus there was a swear that I've replaced using its synonym. The upside is that the powerful snap of Walter's shark jaws now sounds like a pair of children's scissors doing arts and crafts.

Rematch results in another victory for American Eskimo Dogs everywhere

Samoyeds still cannot compare. This little brown and white dog was definitely in awe of his martial prowess.

Powerful Warrior Behavior

Only apex predators like the mighty American Eskimo Dog do stuff like this:

  1. Laying with your belly exposed

  2. Biting the remains of your prey (that rope ball used to be inside a stuffed purple hippo thing)

  3. Holding hands (do not allow the human to stop holding hands)

  4. Napping

Samoyeds in absolute shambles after defeat at dog park

My son Walter loves fighting.

We didn't have access to a dog park for a while and he's been pretty shy since we found one recently, but the other day he came out of his shell with this Sammy - they were chasing and wrastling for like half an hour. He was acting extra happy (and confident around other dogs on walks or whatever) for a couple days afterwards 😂. Looking forward to the rematch
