Customers naked or in underwear

I don't know why people come to the door naked...and no...none of them were in any decent shape. Others are obviously naked hiding behind the door but opening it and sticking their hands out to receive their orders. We live in a strange world.

Uber Eats Directions not always great

My work area is where I live. As you would expect, I know the area very well. Sometimes, I have to use my own sense of direction. Despite driver notifications about construction and road closures, the App can still send you that way. Yes, this App can contribute to lateness.

The App uses an average time for your trip. It does not adjust because of closed streets, closed lanes and lack of nearby parking due to construction. Sometimes, an active construction site is not showing on the Map! That's ridiculous. Based on my observation too, you get more lates recorded during Rush Hour vs. if you work from 7:00 p.m. onwards.

This a driving app. It has difficulty at times finding alley entrances or buildings entrances in a compound that you can only walk too. This is when the App goes silent and has you driving in circles. With more experience, you'll know when it's time to park and walk to find the building location and entrance. Keep in mind that the App does not know whether you are walking or driving. You need to understand this in a large University Campus, a Hospital Compound or a Hotel which has several buildings in a complex.

The App is most annoying taking you through side streets, alleys, speed bumps and roundabouts. In the absence of construction, it's faster to use major roads and traffic lights to get to your destination. I refuse to go to a two way stop and try to cross a major roadway with multiple lanes to both ways during rush hour. Like I said, this App can make you late.

There is also the rare instance where your 2 or 3 stacked delivery trip makes no geographic sense. You have no choice but to pick up the pace on those.

The Uber directions take a while to refresh once you get back to the car with the order. If you're a beginner, you might not check the map first and understand that you need to go in a different direction than the initial instructions shown. You see the illegal U Turns all the time from the experienced drivers.

With updates, my App stopped saying, "you have arrived." It still gets the final destination on the left or right wrong. The App is decent overall. You just have to know the quirks and workarounds.

Uber still needs to do a better job of updating their App. That new pop up message about the customer is waiting for their order when I go off course is useless. I am very experienced and I know my area better than the App. I only defer if I'm delivering to a far off destination that I am not that familiar with. It's obvious that some of the decision makers at Uber have not done this job before. Some of the things that they come up with make no sense at all. I have a message for my fellow drivers, your weekly feedback is crucial.
