Free Hands at Live Casino
I was playing bacc at a casino, higher limit table so I was only one sitting. Not private or anything but a off night so not to many players around. Anyhow I’m playing my game and have to take a quick break to rr, before a left another person shows up to the table and is chatting with the dealer, I think nothing of it since she wasn’t sitting at the table nor did she have chips. I get up go do my biz and when I come back to discover she (the dealer friend) had played 3 free hands and pulled a dragon on the second one. I come back and ask what happened and dealer said “oh, she asked for free hands”.. I was really surprised because I asked “don’t you need to be seated with chips at the table to do that?” Dealer said no, anyone at any time can request free hands. I was floored at this point and I ask the “friend” directly why would you do that? Her reply was “I was thinking of playing so I did”
At that point I just got up and moved to another table to avoid getting more upset.
I get it, everyone has the right to free hands but if your not even going to play and just want to burn cards when some else is active, don’t think that cool.
