Lost 240k today
I was up 70k today, until a series of loss hit me.
I'm still up 600k overall, but this loss really sucked. Should I continue betting big, or chill muna?

Pretty much the title. I play non-commission EZ bacc and I like starting out with 50-60 units. Base bets range between $25-$100 depending on vibes.
EDIT: I of course play $25 units.
You know, it asks you to lay out way beyond your mental capacity going into the night.
"What if it hits!?" , is too seductive to ignore.
I was going to flat bet xxx if my progression took me there, and then it did and im six deep.
I put way way too much money down to attempt a recovery.
Thank God my bankroll is fixed going into a session. This is my loss and exit, gracefully I hope, as I leave full of shame.
There's a saying in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Japanese, and Korean, the pronunciation of the word for the number "4" sounds nearly equal to the word for "death".
Due to this negative association, sitting at a seat marked with a "4" is viewed as an invitation for bad luck or financial loss at the table.
Baccarat, NC Baccarat , VIP baccarat , speed baccarat, any xtreme or golden wealth baccarat, EZ baccarat and always 9/8 baccarat?
Ok, just going for one unit and im out. Its a nice size unit and my bankroll is 16 units or so deep.
First round, nope. Ok, ready to grind. Round 4 and im 4 units deep. What the....!? Ok, grind mode fully focused and activated.
100 or so rounds later and Im pushing 9 or 10 units deep. Win some, actual a good chunk, then lose 4 in a row again, exactly 8 units down, 8 left in the tank.
Of course I push all 8 units in. Its all come down to this.
The most honest story would be me losing it all right there. However, I doubt I'd have the mental strength to come tell you this story if a numbly stared at crumbs of nothing.
Instead I won, back to even. Baccarat is a game where we celebrate staying neutral. Its scary how easy it is to fall.
Let’s make some money
So today was a rough session…I met my goal but took me 5 hours wtf!!!!roughly 10 units only…i don’t play every hand and I had a bad start and went down to 12 units by the second shoe was over… I held my composure and when the third shoe came around and eveything was going my way it took me half to shoe I made all my units back and won my daily goal… I would say this game takes a lot of patience and press when it’s time… knock on wood but I haven’t lost a session for a good minute now! Just putting it out there that when everything you do doesn’t work trust the process cause there’s light on the other side of the tunnel! Good luck guys on ya baccarat journey!!!!
How do you bet when you play Baccarat? For me it is as follows:
The one-line strategy: always bet on the Banker. It has a 1.06% house edge versus the Player’s 1.24%, and that small difference compounds into real savings over time. The Tie bet, despite its flashy 8:1 payout, carries a brutal 14.36% edge — avoid it entirely. Baccarat isn’t complicated; most of the work is just knowing which bet to make.
The five rules:
Bet Banker — 1.06% edge, the best bet on the table.
Skip the Tie — 14.36% edge; the 8:1 payout looks tempting but the math is terrible.
Bet flat — the same amount every hand; no progressive system improves expected value.
Set a loss limit before you sit down, not during the session.
Accept the edge as entertainment cost — at $1,000 wagered on Banker, expect to lose about $10.60.
I used to play in another state, and over about four years I actually ended up profitable against the casinos overall.
But since I started playing in Los Angeles, it’s been much tougher. Maybe I’m still adjusting to the games here, but the patterns feel very different — especially at Commerce Casino. Some of the shoes there honestly look ridiculous compared with what I was used to.
So I’m curious: are there any long-term baccarat players here who have actually stayed profitable over the years? And specifically, has anyone consistently done well at Commerce Casino?
If so, I’d really like to hear how you approach the game.
So far, the only approach I’ve found that feels somewhat stable is waiting for four Bankers or four Players in a row, then taking one shot against the streak. I don’t keep chasing it — just one hand.
Has anyone found a better or more consistent strategy than this?
I know baccarat is still a negative-EV game mathematically, so I’m not talking about a guaranteed winning system. I’m mainly interested in how experienced players approach different casinos, streaks, table selection, discipline, and whether you feel certain casinos genuinely “play differently.”
Would love to hear everyone’s experience, especially from regular Commerce players.
has anyone ever won with this ive had some sucess but not much i may be missing somthing
To those that play this game at a land based casino in person, what are your thoughts on this? Would you rather just let the dealer reveal the cards on P/B instead?
I've seen some Asian aunties and uncles take their sweet old time squeezing to get that 3 card Panda or Dragon. Only then, it ends up a tie or a losing hand.
I recall one Auntie getting a Panda on Player Side and celebrating too early. The Banker 3-8 special came out totaling Nine, which ended up killing her 10K wager bet. She couldn't believe it and her jaw dropped. The cards were shredded within her hands and she yelled out "Gwai lou" in Chinese to the dealer.
I decided to mostly flat bet, progress if I get 10 behind, you know - unlikely, but if it does then I'll step up.
Lol. Jokes on me, in minutes I was 20+ deep. 5 and 6 streaks stacked against me. At one point I was 28 down.
My progression was now 9x and finally clawed my way out.... but at one point was 2 bets away from bust.
Classic baccarat.
