Outdoor time in Canada
Hello! We are in the Pacific Northwest in Canada. The humidity is high and it's...chilly but not freezing.
Our quail are 4 weeks old on Wednesday. They're getting crowded in their brooder and we are debating outdoor time. They're strong, feathered and eating drinking playing, dust bathing without issues.
Today 2 days before they are 4 weeks.old I removed the last of their heat sources so they can handle the room temperature on their own.
When abouts would you put these guys out in their aviary?
Does the temp have to be a certain level at night before they go out? Do you give them daytime outside and night time inside until they're a certain age?
Ive looked at things online and i feel like it's fairly location specific. If I was raising these guys in Mexico where I'm.from they would be out already, ya know?
