Nail Psoriasis?
Hi everyone, trying to figure out if this is nail psoriasis or if it is a nail fungus. I have not been diagnosed with psoriasis - but did have concerning symptoms for psoriatic arthritis. It was, at the time, not officially diagnosed because my blood work didn't show any inflammation and my symptoms weren't severe enough to diagnose it. I have family history of psoriasis, though, and last I talked to rheumatologist was to let her know if anything got worse/changed.
I do have pitting on my thumb nails, but they weren't 100% convinced it was from psoriasis yet (think it may be damage instead). Posted my photo below in another forum, too, and probably going to visit the doctor to help identify things but figured I'd try here. I thought nail fungus instantly, but Google thought maybe nail psoriasis and photos don't quite match a lot of the nail fungus ones I see. Would love input!
