Struggling to find an apartment
I know there are specific groups for this but wanted to reach out directly to the community to see if anyone had any leads.
I’m 27, queer (she/they), from nyc and am seriously struggling to find housing. My current living situation isn’t working out and i feel like i’ve exhausted all my resources. I’m competing with a million other people to find a place to live and since i have a (small non shedding) dog ( who i only watch part time 3 days out of the week) and work off the books the odds are not in my favor. I HAVE a stable job(work full time as a nanny) and i also have a guarantor who makes over 6 figures.
I’m a respectful and clean roomate, generally out of the house and looking for a place to call home. If anyone knows of anything please let me know and help would be appreciated. Ideally looking to stay under 1300 and am flexible. Need to move by May 31st. Would also love to stay in the neighborhood and would be so sad to leave :(
