so i was rewatching stranger things and i just realized something and idk if its a plot hole or im just confused

when nancy and robin went to victor creel’s cell in the mental hospital he told them the story of what happened in his house. and we as the viewers get to see that visually from his point of view

as far as we know he didnt make nancy able to see it
and vecna only showed nancy later when she was in a trance.

so how did nancy know his door had a flower on it and could piece together max’s drawing? technically she didn’t see it at all at that point
