For project ovr do what battlefield 6 did instead of mw4. Granted i know there is whole licensing procedure to get the actual looks but I am sure they can. I don't want a modern warfare situation where it supposed to be a Pavlow or a Chinook but they had to do a knock off. Give us actual aircraft like battlefield 6 did for it makes it more tangible.
It's been a month since the ghost recon showcase and also a while since any major reports on project ovr from insider gaming. The last we hear they finally got past alpha and it seems development is moving along at a good pace.
For me I believe that since they have open up the insider program to allow you tubers like bullet catcher gaming and asquad to play ovr under nda they are far along that a reveal could be in November. Now insider gaming reported that November is when they hope to be in beta. It also makes sense cause November is when ghost recon actually released 25 years ago. It lines up perfectly but it also makes even more sense a reveal at the game awards.
What this is pointing to is that for the most part project ovr is on track for 2027 release, either spring or fall. Now I am a optimistic but the fact no major news both bad and good has broken on its development, thus the old saying no news is good news. Every day they made progress and closer to the game being complete, add in its being open for play test and you can see its moving forward to a release next year. In the past couple of weeks with the possible reveal of the next ghost recon seem to be close, I have been going over the possible influences from media, composer selection and when the game will be revealed.
For today's post I have to my best guess predict who could be selected for the cast of project ovr. Now we probably won't know who will be starring in the game, unless they do what they did with Jon Bernethal and take his likeness and we know instantly. But we shouldn't expect no a listers like tom cruise, brad pitt, kate winslet, maybe we can see russell crowe. What we should expect is to get top talent from other games, and TV. Character actors and main stays that we recognize and are drawn to. We may see people from shows like the boys, daredevil, hell maybe give Milo ventimiglia another proper military main role after the disastrous David mason role in the cancer that is black ops 7 (Not his fault).
You can also add other shows like yellowstone, Lioness, the newly minted hit marshals where they can cultivate talent. There is also the projects that I mention for influence that can also be where the actors can be pulled from. Add in other choices you may not expect and you can see those making up the ghosts, intelligence officers and enemy faction heads.
At the end of the day what matters for the developers and narrative directors for project ovr is casting the right actors for each roles, which I am certain they have done. Hope the wait for all our answers isn't much longer.
