Really confused about this. It's fixable so nbd really, just wondering if there's some deeper meaning we are missing? They cut the very end of the hose to take the threaded part and the shitty plastic sprayer nozzle. It's the only thing vandalized, and we have plenty of shit actually worth taking. So what gives? Is someone sending a message?

Portland, Oregon. Recently purchased the house, knew this was a problem from the inspection report. I'd like to both fix it, and add the garbage disposal and a dishwasher too. What's the simplest way to do it? Thanks!
