Is holding convo in dating apps is a crime?
I've gotten a few matches on Hinge and Bumble, but I'm noticing a pattern.
I'm usually the one starting the conversation, carrying it forward, and sometimes even sending another message when the previous one hasn't been answered. A lot of the time, the conversation just dies or ends in an unmatch.
So I'm wondering:
Is trying to hold a conversation actually hurting my chances, or do I need to improve my texting skills?
I don't expect instant replies, but dating apps sometimes feel like people match and then have no interest in talking. How do you keep a conversation engaging without feeling like you're doing all the work?
Genuinely curious to hear from both men and women who've had success on these apps.
