HELP PLEASE WITH GETTING AHOLD OF UHC CALL REPRESENTATIVE

For brevity's sake, I have UHC. ABSOLUTELY HATE IT. I've been on the phone with these people for over 2 hours now because they can't answer a simple question. 99.99% of the time, my call gets routed overseas to someone in India. What usually happens after I explain the situation is: 1) they don't understand and waste time asking me to explain it over and over again, and eventually DROP the call (YES, THEY DISCONNECT), or 2) they transfer my call to a supervisor or manager who is supposedly better equipped to assist me, but their leadership is just as incompetent as they are.

Please advise. How do I get ahold of a US-based representative?

Need help! Two questions (re: ARO&dog friendly green neighborhoods that are affordable)

Hi! I plan to relocate to Chicago sometime in August. I'm hoping some people could weigh in and provide some insights.

My first question concerns ARO. I meet income requirements to apply for ARO housing. I submitted an application and I was notified by management that my application cannot move forward because of the following reasons: ARO will not accept proof of income from employment outside the state (IL), and ARO will not approve an offer letter from my new employer in Chicago because ARO would need proof of two consecutive paystubs. Is this really a requirement? I didn't see any requirements surrounding this. Are there ways to navigate this?

If ARO housing does not work out, I plan to find a roommate. I spent time looking and I really like River North since grocery stores are walking distance and there's a park every few blocks where I could walk my dog. I also came across this neighborhood and I like that there are trees on every block: 63 W Chestnut St - Google Maps. I've spent hours and days looking on Apartments.com, Zillow, Hotpads and more... Can you recommend some areas that have greenery or is near a park in a safe and affordable neighborhood? I'm looking for a two bedroom, two bathroom where rent is no more than 3,400 monthly. Parking spot included would be a plus!!

I received an email from Amazon that my account is restricted to digital orders only, which basically means I cannot order off Amazon anymore. When I submitted an appeal, they replied it's because: "We took this action because you consistently asked us to issue refunds."

For context, I had my account since 2013 and regularly order. I've NEVER issued a request from a refund since the recent years, around 2024. Amazon issued me a total of 4 refunds since 2024 till now for the following issues:

  • I bought a phone case but the advertisement on Amazon was misleading because it was the wrong dimensions so didn't fit my phone
  • I bought a new dog bed but it came STAINED. Yes, the mattress had 3 YELLOW STAINS on it, implying it's been used
  • A soap I purchased was delivered leaking
  • The bag of granola I bought had a tear in the bag

For all four of these issues, I called right away and Amazon offered to refund me or send a replacement. Despite the appeal, it appears that they don't want to reinstate my account. I'm so pissed because all this was out of my hands. Now, I'm starting to have trust issues. So every time I order something I might as well have a phone on my hand and start recording the process of opening my package just in case I run into issues like this again. If you've ever been in this situation, what did you do?

If this doesn't belong here, can someone direct me where I can post my issue? Looks like I can't post in the main Amazon thread since this would be classified as a complaint.
