My AIR is 36 in the result, percentile around 82-83. I have been waitlisted for now. What are my chances of getting in? And till when will I find out?

I am from India. I graduated last year and have been interning and now working a full-time job in the social impact and policy field. My bigger goal is to work at the UN full-time, but I am finding it difficult to get to an entry point. I see my peers get in as volunteers, interns and even junior consultants. Would love some advice and motivation. Thanks!
